Στις Φωτογραφίες η φοβερή και τρομερή Ιωάννα Κίτρου
Floyd λοιπόν και ενώ αρκετοί από εσάς (αν όχι όλοι) το τιμήσατε στους Blind Guardian εμένα η παρθενική μου επίσκεψη έμελλε να είναι ο πολυαγαπημένος μου Parov Stelar. Γούστα είναι αυτά. Ωραίος χώρος. Φρέσκος ρε παιδί μου. Ευχή μου είναι να ανοίξουν και άλλα stages. Μικρά, μεγάλα, μεσαία. Χρειαζόμαστε μπόλικα και καλό είναι να τα στηρίζουμε.
El Siciliano
Γύρω στις 21:30 ο El Siciliano πήρε την θέση του πίσω από τα Decks. Το λοιπόν, τον κύριο τον είχα δει δύο χρόνια πριν. Τότε δεν είχα ενθουσιαστεί και πολύ με τις μίξεις του. Μάλλον έφταιγε πως η εποχή που επέλεξε να χρησιμοποιεί ως βάση είναι πολύ έξω από τα προσωπικά μου ακούσματα, οπότε δεν πέρασα καλά. Το βράδυ του Σαββάτου περίμενα να ήταν διαφορετικά. Δεν ήταν.
Στο Release είχε επιλέξει να παίξει 70-80s και ο κόσμος ήταν “μιεχ”. Το Σάββατο αποφάσισε να ανέβει 1-2 δεκαετίες (στην αρχή τουλάχιστον) και είχε μια ελαφρώς πιο Dark διάθεση. Το κοινό ταρακουνήθηκε αρκετά με μια διασκευή του “Sweet Dreams”, ενώ στην συνέχεια ακολούθησαν μερικά κομμάτια που με έκαναν να πιστέψω πως παίξε, παίξε έχει γίνει καλύτερος. Λάθος μου.

Όχι άλλο “Wall” σε μπιτάκι ρε παιδιά, απλά όχι. Κάτι τέτοιες επιλογές σε συνδυασμό με τα αρκετά μεγάλα κενά που λείπει το beat για να προσθέσει ατμόσφαιρα με έκαναν να πάω έξω για ένα γρήγορο τσιγάρο. DJ set είναι, να χορέψω θέλω. Ο κόσμος όμως αποφασίζει, οι γύρω μου περνούσαν καλά και στην τελική αυτό έχει σημασία και όχι το γεγονός πως ο Χρηστάκης δεν τον βρίσκει το ιδανικό ορεκτικό για δεύτερη φορά.

Για τον Parov Stelar τα έχω πει πάρα πολλές φορές σε αρκετούς φίλους. Πέρα από μεγάλο ταλέντο στο songwriting ο τύπος ζωντανά είναι χάρμα ιδέσθαι. Μόνος του στόχος είναι να μην βάλει κανείς τον κ@λο του κάτω και συνήθως το καταφέρνει. Το Σάββατο δεν ήταν η εξαίρεση που επιβεβαιώνει τον κανόνα.

Ο Parov Stelar παίρνει τον ρόλο του καλού μαέστρου, εμπιστεύεται πλήρως τους μουσικούς του και τους δίνει τον χώρο που χρειάζονται ώστε να απογειώσουν την κάθε του σύνθεση. Ο ήχος ήταν εξαιρετικός, δεν περίμενα κάτι λιγότερο. Τους πήρε στην κυριολεξία ένα κομμάτι να φτιάξουν τις εντάσεις και τις σχέσεις μεταξύ τους. Η Elena Karafizi και ο “Αθηναίος” Lee Anduze κέρδισαν το κοινό κατευθείαν με την φωνή και την σκηνική τους παρουσία. Ειδικά ο δεύτερος σου δίνει την εντύπωση πως είναι η ψυχή της μπάντας μιας και δεν σταματάει την διάδραση με το κοινό δευτερόλεπτο.

“Booty Swing” και “Cat Groove” ήταν αδιαμφισβήτητα τα χορευτικά highlights της βραδιάς αν και προσωπικό μου αγαπημένο ήταν και θα είναι το “Mojo Radio Gang”. Στο σημείο αυτό θα δώσω τα θερμά μου συγχαρητήρια στο κοινό που σεβόταν τον διπλανό του δημιουργώντας τον απαραίτητο χώρο για να κουνήσει και εκείνος το κορμάκι του.
Στο encore ακούσαμε “Sexyback” και “Sweet Dreams” ενώ ήταν αδύνατο να μην κλείσει η βραδιά με το λατρεμένο “Sun”. Αν δεν έχετε δει τον Parov Stelar ποτέ, πραγματικά δεν ξέρετε τι χάνετε μέχρι να πάτε. Εγώ σίγουρα θα ξαναπάω και ας τον προτιμώ σε καλοκαιρινές συνθήκες!
